 Program Educational Objectives (PEOs): B. Pharmacy

 Upon completion of the program, graduates shall

· Discharge the Professional roles of pharmacists with adequate understanding of their responsibilities as needed in this  multidisciplinary health care system

· Plan, design, execute, stimulate experiments and provide solutions related to drugs and dosage forms.

· Integrate the knowledge base of pharmaceutical services and practice for better design of drugs and dosage regimen.

· Communicate effectively to other health care providers and patients with professional standards, ethics and social  responsibilities.

· Become a lifelong learner to absorb new technologies and thus offer leadership role in the profession.


Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharmacy)

Admission Criteria - First Year B. Pharmacy

   Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective State/Central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

B. Pharmacy Lateral Entry (to Third Semester)

   A pass in D. Pharmacy programme from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.

Duration of the Programme

   The course of study for B. Pharmacy shall extend over a period of eight semesters (four academic years) and six semesters (three academic years) for lateral entry students. The curricula and syllabus for the program shall be prescribed from time to time by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.
